Piotr gained M&A experience in a series of roles as the Polish market went through a rapid transformation in the early 1990s. In 1998, he joined Riverside Europe Partners LLC (a US based private equity fund management group) and established their Warsaw office. He was involved in all aspects of the firm’s activity, including deal origination, transaction management and negotiations, completing six buy-out investments in Poland. As a member of the Investment Committee in three Riverside funds, he actively participated in investment decisions relating to a broad range of companies in Poland and other European countries.

In 2007 Piotr joined SGAM as a partner and member of the Eastern Europe Investment Committee leading transactions in Poland and the region. He has led investments in home.pl, Kom-Eko, Shoper, and Summa Linguae for the firm.
