According to MedLife representatives, the increase of 32.7 percent represents a new record for MedLife, over 20 percent being supported by organic growth and the rest by acquisitions. Also, the company signed a new transaction and will take a new loan for acquisitions valued at EUR 20 million.
“Lately we had an intense activity and we consolidated our position, both through green field projects, as well as through acquisitions and this is mainly because of the complexity of medical act increase, both at diagnosis level, as well as at hospital level, a high level of performance that allows us to become a regional standard, especially regarding the metabolic diseases surgery, neurosurgery, breast cancer surgery, with the possibility of reconstruction. Also the laboratory division registered a high growth. In this respect, we maintain our expectations for the current year, we have even accelerated the organic growth in the last months, so that we estimate that we’ll close the year with EUR 120 million, organic growth, being premises to reach EUR 130-150 million,“ said Mihai Marcu, president of administration board of MedLife.
Medlife announces a new acquisition and has signed a taking over transaction of the main share stock, of 90 percent, from Medical Centre Panduri, following its position consolidation.
Medical Centre Panduri is an operator with over nine years of activity on the Romanian market. It has two laboratories of medical analysis and five clinics, registering a turnover of over EUR 1.9 million in 2015. As a result of the transaction, Maria Pop, founder and general director of Medical Centre Panduri, will keep its management attributions, being responsible for the development and expansion strategy of the centre.
